Clear Focus ClassicVue

Clear Focus ClassicVue is a composite white (printable side) black (adhesive side) perforated 8-mil polymeric vinyl. Exterior mount to mass transit vehicles requiring premium quality grade type film. This is an APNO specified film and is approved for use on buses and trams.

    Makeup:  Calendered polymeric flexible perforated black (adhesive side) / white (printable side) gloss PVC with clear pressure-sensitive adhesive and single layer solid unperforated paper liner.

    Vinyl Thickness: 203 microns, approx

    Release Liner: Solid paper liner, 178 microns, approx.

    Adhesive: 25 microns,  approx. Removable acrylic adhesive

    Perforation Pattern and Size: 1.5mm, 30% / 70% open/closed areas, approx.

    Standard Widths/Lengths:  1370mm x 30m, 76mm core

    Dimensional Stability: Good

    Application Temperatures Recommended: 15°c to 25°c, Min: 4°c Max: 30°c (in shade)

    Service Temperatures: -17°c to +60°c

    Solvent Resistance: Good

    Storage Stability: 9 months self life stored at 21°c & 50% relative humidity

    Water and Humidity Resistance: Fair, immersion in water not recommended.

    Expected Lifetime Exterior: 2 - 3 years. 6 months for clean removal. Adhesion may increase with time

    Printing: Compatible with solvent (including mild and eco), screen and latex. Not compatible with UV-cure inks. Print image on white (non-adhesive) side. Testing recommended before production to determine appropriate profile settings.

    Out Gassing:  1-3  days suspended vertically in well ventilated area. Trim after out gas period.

    Matching Overlaminate:  Clear Focus CurvaLam. Cold press. After laminating, wait 24 hours before applying to window.

    lnstallation: Refer to the Surface Preparation and lnstallation lnstruction Fact Sheets; Apply to clean, dry glass surface. Use mild soap (wax free) and water, dry glass well. Do NOT use amonia, Windex@ or other solvent-based glass cleaner prior to application. Do not use heat. For use roll fed cold laminator.

    Removal Refer to the Care and Removal Fact Sheet. Remove by peeling from surface.
